Overview

The Workplace for Windows and Mac cloud drive makes it possible to display all of the projects and files to which you have access in your Workplace Folder and allows you to sync items stored in the cloud for local, offline use via the right-click menu.

Workplace Desktop stores the projects and files synced to your device. If a project or file hasn't been explicitly synced to your device, you will not see it in your Workplace Folder.

While not undergoing active development, Workplace Desktop v8 often benefits from features added to v10. It is a robust, time-tested version of the Workplace app.

Sync Architecture

Workplace for Windows and Mac, the Workplace service populates a separately mounted drive with your Workplace-stored items.

The Workplace Desktop app syncs your Workplace files to your local device and syncs your local disk files to the cloud.

Additional Folder Sync Options

Does not support syncing items outside the Workplace Folder to the Workplace service.

Supports syncing any folder on your local device to the Workplace service via Workplace Desktop folder sync.

Multiple account switching
