We're pleased to announce our 2018.1 Service Update for Workplace"Workplace" describes the Autotask Workplace service in its entirety.
To make it easier and faster to onboard customers, we've added the new Set Team Defaults feature, which allows you to set up the default policies and also default field values that will be automatically applied when you create a new team. You can always customize these settings for individual teams, but using this feature to create policy and data entry baselines will save you time.
The Set Team Defaults page is comprised of two tabs: Policies and Team Defaults. The selections you make on the Policies tab will serve as the default policies for all new Workplace teams that you create.
On the Team Defaults tab, you'll set the default values for some attributes that will be applied when you create new end users. Completing the information on this tab will make creating new users much easier and faster:
Enhanced security for your Workplace Manager account via 2FA for Workplace Manager users is now available. All Workplace Manager users will be required login using 2FA if this policy is enabled.

You can now report on Download and Restore Backup events for files backed up via Workplace DesktopAlso known as the Workplace Desktop app, and in the context of this documentation, simply "the app," Workplace Desktop is the software installed on a computer that is responsible for synchronizing data between the local drive and the cloud., giving you a complete audit trail of backup operations.

The following issues have been resolved:
Videos were failing to convert on Workplace MobileWorkplace Mobile is the Workplace application designed specifically for the various mobile platforms, providing access to Autotask Workplace. for iOS.
Active Directory accounts were not linking with existing Workplace accounts where the email addresses matched.
When you have linked accounts and the last account you logged into was not the account with access to the project from which you were trying to use the Email to ProjectA project is a top-level folder within Autotask Workplace. A project is the primary container for all the folders and files that are synchronized by the Workplace service. Projects create the basic organizational structure to store data and control user access. feature, the attachment would fail to send due to insufficient permissions. Emails now send properly.

Email to Project email address was displaying only for project owners, not for all users with permission to use the feature. All users with appropriate permissions may now use this feature.
